Gerald Posner (* 20. Mai 1954 in San Francisco) ist ein Journalist und Autor diverser Bücher, darunter Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK (1993). Der Bestseller-Autor war in mehrere Skandale aufgrund von Plagiaten und Zitatfälschungen oder -erfindungen verwickelt. 2010 verlor er deshalb seinen Posten bei dem Online-Magazin „Daily Beast“.[1][2][3][4]
